ICF/IDD — Intermediate Care Facilities for Intellectual and developmental disabilities (ICF/IDD). Each residence of  RHA Howell, Inc. is fully licensed in North Carolina and is certified annually based on federal standards for ICF/IDD. These certifications are required in order to serve persons eligible for Medicaid. The ICF/IDD standards require that each person receive “active treatment” that is an integrated service across all settings to meet the person’s needs. Each Year, RHA Howell, Inc. receives re-certification as a Medicaid-approved ICF/IDD facility.
